Sovereign Order of Malta
Designing the vestments and paraments for the Order of Malta Federal Association USA began in the Spring of 2007 with the design expertise of Fra’ James-Michael von Stroebel. These custom liturgical elements are made with the highest quality of materials and embroideries. In 2024, the vestments and appointments standards for the SMOM were approved to provide unification in Liturgy. There are two design standard series offered in white/black and white/red as shown in the photos below.
Msgr. James Watkins, Chief Chaplain of the Sub-Priory of Our Lady of Lourdes leads the effort toward standardization of liturgy/vesture for the Chaplains within the associations.
